(women ages 18-40)
Saturday, January 15, 2022
3:00-6:30 PM EST
Are you ready to start the New Year by going deeper in exploring self-awareness? Are you ready to hear two amazing speakers share their wealth of knowledge, guide us in exercises, and help us grow as women in leadership? Are you ready to Let the Walls Fall Down?
Join ABWM's Young Adult Women's Ministry as we come together for a free virtual retreat on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 3:00 PM EST. Through conversation, activities, and fellowship, we want this to be a space to build connections and grow as leaders in today's world.
Rev. Dr. Marie Onwubuariri will help us to look at how our culture and upbringing have both formed and informed who we are today. Rev. Dr. Onwubuariri says, "To spend time focused on yourself is not always selfish. In fact, it is a responsibility we must take before we accept the privilege to lead others." What a beautiful sentiment!
Rev. Maureen Gerald is a spiritual director who will teach us how to look beyond Sunday morning to engage in spiritual practices. We will engage in several of these practices and learn how to incorporate them into our daily lives. Rev. Gerald's passion for opening the eyes and hearts of her listeners to the power of spiritual direction is refreshing.
