In “God is in the Details of Change!” Elaine will examine the idea that God intentionally uses the changes in our lives to make us better. She will discuss the notion of change as the beginning of transition and show from the Scriptures that change is a necessary component of our spiritual growth.
While we may not understand what God is doing in our lives, we can have a better understanding of God’s perspective on change. As Christian women, young or seasoned, we can cooperate with God’s process of sculpting us into God’s divine masterpieces.
Presentation Summary

Change and transition are not the same. Change is an event. Transition is a process.

Change is the ending. Transition is the beginning.

We are emotionally invested in an unknown future—our expectations.

Prov. 19:21 says that God has a plan for our lives.

The future belongs to God, and these plans are good. (Jer. 29:11)

The details of God’s intervention in our lives may be hidden in our life circumstances (see the story of Joseph in Genesis 37-50).

Believers can trust a God who makes all things work together for their good because we love God and have been called according to God’s purpose. (Romans 8:28)

PROVERBS 19:21 -- SET GOALS BUT LEAVE THE OUTCOME TO GOD.
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.
JEREMIAH 29:11 -- THE FUTURE LOOKS GOOD TO GOD!
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
EPHESIANS 3:20 -- GOD IS DOING SOMETHING GOOD THAT WE CAN’T EVEN IMAGINE.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
