For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline
-- 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)
We have all gone through experiences that challenge and stretch us. Our guest presenter, Rachel Legg, will share some of her own experiences in the field of community mental health. She will also share knowledge and tips we can all take with us to apply during personal times of transition.
Webinar Highlights
-
It can feel more safe or comforting to stick with what we’ve always known, even when our needs have shifted such that what used to fit no longer does. This is a conundrum our presenter knows very well!
-
Times of change and transition can be tricky. How do we know when it’s time to take the leap into the unknown?
-
We can lean on our community for support, to give us courage in order to take the leap.
-
Embracing a growth mindset helps us welcome the grace God offers us as we learn and go outside our comfort zone.
-
Even when changes are exciting and timely, our body and soul may need extra TLC during the adjustment period.
-
Get ideas from a mental health therapist, as you seek ways to support your body and soul during seasons of transition.
