  • Ministries with Young Adult Women

While AB Women’s Ministries has a commitment to building relationships across the generations, providing opportunities for women and girls to learn and grow with one another, we do also recognize the need for women and girls to build relationships in their own peer groups as well.
Our commitment to being in ministry with young adult women may be seen in our national officer position, Coordinator of Young Adult Women’s Ministries. This young woman serves on our national executive committee to be sure that interests and concerns of young adult women will be heard in all of our planning and conversations. She works with our national president to build a team of young adult women advisors for planning. Our nominating committee seeks applications from women of all ages for all national officer positions.
We hold regular events for young adult women; in the past, these events have included retreats, conferences, webinars, and spiritual pilgrimages. We provide resources for young adult women as well, and encourage young adult women to be involved in leadership at all levels of the organization.

Young Adult Women's Ministries Advisory Team (YAWMAT)
The recently-formed young adult women’s ministries advisory team serves with our young adult women’s ministries coordinator to envision AB Women’s Ministries outreach and support for young adult women. Women interested in volunteering their gifts and skills by serving on the YAWMAT should complete the YAWMAT application form.
