  • Honoring and Remembering Women who made a Difference

Extra, extra, read all about it.

The Executive Committee is preparing a special edition of Leader’s Reader in early May featuring “I remember Mama” or whoever you remember and “I honor someone,” any woman who has made a difference in your life.

We are asking you, our readers, to share stories of women who have inspired you, encouraged you, challenged you, pushed you out of your comfort zone, and/or helped you grow as a woman of God. Who would you like to remember or honor by making a special gift to American Baptist Women’s Ministries as we celebrate Mother’s Day?

A special promo like this would not be complete without recognizing your gift. All donations are welcomed.
    • Contributions up to $99 honors one woman and her story (up to 100 characters).
    • Contributions of $100 or more honors up to three women and their stories (up to 150 characters per story) and will be recognized as part of the Carnation Circle. Carnations were the flowers chosen by Anna Jarvis, the founder of Mother’s Day, to be given in church to the mothers. They were her mother’s favorite flower, and they are long-lasting.

The deadline for submission of your stories about women who you wish to honor is May 1. This special edition of Leader’s Reader will be published the week before Mother’s Day.
