    Never Too Old To Change!

    February 4, 2021 9PM EDT/6PM PT

From a life coach’s perspective, This webinar targeted change and transition as it relates to the senior experience. However, regardless of your age, you will learn the difference between change and transition. Strategies for attacking both will be offered. In addition, this webinar will deal with the topic of maintaining your resilience in this age of rapid change.

Get an idea of what of missed:

    1.     Change and transition are not the same thing.
    2.     Change is actually the destination or endpoint of a process
    3.     That PROCESS is called transition
    4.     The phases of transition are: ending, the wilderness zone, and a new beginning
    5.     Each of these phases are characterized by a cluster of emotion(s):
            a.     The ENDING is often characterized by fear and uncertainty but, there may also be a sense of anticipation.
            b.     The WILDERNESS ZONE can be frustrating  because you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.
            c.      The BEGINNING (a fresh start) poses the challenge not to go back when things are not working out as expected.
    6.     Transition is a constant process of our Christian walk which helps us to grow into mature Christians:  “2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (James 1: 2-4)
    7.     The ability to come out spiritually whole (resilient) can be facilitated by
    a.     Praying & being honest with God
    b.     Reframing your situation for its positive effect (think like a coach)
