We’re thrilled to share that American Baptist Women’s Ministries (ABWM) has officially launched the Rudd Empowerment Center! This new initiative is dedicated to fostering leadership, empowerment, and educational opportunities for women and girls globally. Named in honor of ABWM’s first Executive Director, Ms. Violet E. Rudd, the Center aims to tackle pressing issues affecting women today through dedicated research, educational programs, and powerful advocacy.
We are also delighted to announce the appointment of Rev. Dr. Christine Smith as the Director of the Rudd Empowerment Center. Her leadership will be instrumental in driving the Center’s mission forward and making a meaningful impact.
