Purple Table Series: It’s All About the Table!

Celebrate Women’s History Month with our transformative Purple Table Series exploring influence, prayer, and community building.

Join American Baptist Women’s Ministries this March for a powerful month of connection and growth. In honor of Women’s History Month, we are launching the Purple Table Series: “It’s All About the Table!” This series is rooted in our mission theme, “Welcome to the Table”, and invites you to engage in meaningful conversations about faith, leadership, and creating space for all.

This series invites you to pull up a chair whether we are finding our way to the table or building a new one entirely, there is a place for you here.

• March 9: Getting to the Table
  • Led by Rev. Dr. Miriam Méndez, Executive Minister, ABCNJ
  • This table centers on stories of access, calling, and perseverance.
• March 16: Influencing the Table
  • Led by Dr. Marissa Muoio, Academic and Program Administrator in NYU’s Office of Student-Athlete Excellence
  • Led by Sydney Swonigan, business strategist, Certified Co-Active Professional Coach (CCPC), and founder
  • This table centers on Leadership, trust, and shaping culture.
• March 23: Challenging the Table
  • Led by Kelmadis Pérez-Rivera, Founding member of Interreligious Women’s Collective in Puerto Rico 
  • Led by Dr. Rocío Cardona, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico
  • This table centers on faithful disruption and prophetic courage.
• March 30: Building the Table
  • Led by Hannah Grieser, Founder, Milk & Honey Content Creation
  •  Led by Carmelle Beaugelin Caldwell,  Founding Artist/Artistic Director, BeauFolio Studio
  • This table centers women who are building spaces of abundance, purpose, and belonging.
