Welcome to the biennial American Baptist Women and Girls Conference! Join sisters from all over the country for a powerful weekend of worship, empowerment, and love. Together, we will explore what it means to build God’s community, both individually and corporately. Expect to grow and connect through daily worship services, engaging Bible studies, dynamic workshops, and heartfelt fellowship.

A.B. G.I.R.L.S Breakout Sessions:

Session 1: Built to Overcome: Conquering Obstacles Through Faith

Scripture: (Philippians 4:13) “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Description:
This empowering workshop is designed to help teen girls identify and overcome the challenges they face in everyday life. Through biblical teaching, interactive discussions, and practical strategies, participants will learn how to navigate obstacles such as self-doubt, peer pressure, fear, anxiety, disappointment, and adversity with confidence and faith in God.

Girls will be encouraged to embrace their identity in Christ, develop resilience, and discover that through God’s strength they can overcome any obstacle and walk boldly in their purpose.

Session 2: Kingdom Builders: Called to Lead, Equipped by Christ to Impact

Scripture: (1 Corinthians 3:9) “For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.”

Description:
Kingdom Builders: Called to Lead, Equipped by Christ to Impact is a faith-based workshop designed to empower teen girls to understand their identity, purpose, and calling in Christ. This experience helps young women grow in confidence as they discover what it means to be spiritually equipped, leadership-minded, and grounded in God’s Word.

Through engaging teaching, interactive activities, and meaningful fellowship, participants will be encouraged to see themselves as active builders in God’s Kingdom, called not only to grow in faith but also to positively influence their homes, schools, friendships, churches, and communities.

This workshop focuses on strengthening spiritual character, developing Christ-centered leadership, and building a supportive sisterhood rooted in faith and purpose.
